e-ELCA eLearning for Healthcare
End of Life Care for All (e-ELCA) is an e-learning project, commissioned by the Department of Health and delivered by HEE e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) in partnership with the Association for Palliative Medicine of Great Britain and Ireland to support the implementation of the Department of Health’s national End of Life Care Strategy (July 2008).
e-ELCA aims to enhance the training and education of health and social care staff involved in delivering end of life care to people so that well-informed high quality care can be delivered by confident and competent staff and volunteers, across health and social care, wherever the person happens to be.
e-ELCA has devised learning paths to help guide users in choosing sessions of most relevance to their learning.
