Bereaved  Carers Survey - now available!

Great news! The Leeds Bereaved Carers Survey for 2022/23 is now available here.

We received feedback from 109 individuals from across Leeds hospitals, community settings and hospices.
A collective summary of recommendations is presented at the end of the report. These suggestions will guide our future efforts in pursuing enhancements. Thanks to everyone involved.

Projects Update

We have been busy supporting the delivery of the Healthy Leeds Plan actions, with a particular focus on respiratory conditions and end of life care. We have agreed some additional funding for the Seacroft community project that will enable us to provide ongoing support and gain invaluable insight into the needs of this population.

We are pleased to announce that a further new dedicated palliative care ambulance is now on the road in Leeds! The ambulances are a vital resource in providing comfortable and dignified transport for people receiving end of life care. Thanks to all those involved.

Let’s talk about love, life and loss event

The Dying Well in Seacroft Project held a fantastic event on 29 November, which was focussed on supporting people to talk about life and loss.

The event, coproduced by Projecting Grief, created a safe space where people could share their own experiences of grief, in a warm and comfortable front room style environment.
